Children’s Day and the Annual Sports Meet at Akal Academy, Raipur Peer Baksh Wala, celebrated with great excitement on 28th November. The program began with a heartfelt morning prayer, followed by an inspiring speech by Navjot Ma’am, who reminded students that Children’s Day is not just a celebration it is a tribute to the dreams, potential, and boundless energy children bring into the world.
March Past – A Promise of Sportsmanship
With disciplined steps and determined faces, students proudly participated in the march past, taking an oath to give their best while honouring true sportsmanship and fair play.
Moments later, Principal Ma’am officially declared the Sports Meet open, marking the beginning of an energetic and unforgettable day.
Sports Events That Filled the Ground With Energy
The playground turned into a stadium of cheers as students competed in a variety of athletic events, including:-
• 100m, 200m, 400m & 800m races
• Shot put & javelin throw
• High jump & long jump
• Relay races
• Fun events for different grades
Every race had a burst of excitement, every jump carried courage, every throw reflected strength, and every cheer echoed teamwork.
Medals, Moments & Memories
Winners were honoured with medals and prizes, celebrating not just victory but also effort, participation, and perseverance.
To recharge and add warmth to the winter day, students enjoyed tea and pakoras, turning the event into a joyful picnic-like celebration.
When Teachers Joined the Fun
One of the most entertaining highlights was the teachers games, where teachers stepped into the ground with the same excitement as their students. Laughter, cheers, and friendly competition filled the air reminding everyone that sports bring all generations together.

In the closing ceremony, Principal Ma’am addressed the gathering with words of appreciation and motivation.
