A New Dawn for Learning – Akal Academy, Sheron Inaugurates New Building

Blessings First

The ceremony began with the Bhog of Sri Akhand Sahib, seeking Waheguru’s blessings. Children added grace to the occasion with religious poems and short stories, reminding everyone that education is most meaningful when it carries the fragrance of values and spirituality.

Inspiration from the Leaders

Principal Mrs. Baljeet Kaur and Kindergarten in-charge Ms. Harvinder Kaur addressed the gathering, sharing how the vision of Sant Attar Singh Ji and the mission of The Kalgidhar Trust continue to guide this journey. They spoke of a roadmap that combines world-class education with spiritual-moral values, ensuring that rural children are not only educated but also rooted in character and compassion.

Honouring Noble Hearts

The highlight of the day was the honoring of Mata Gurdev Kaur and her son Kuldeep Singh, the generous donors of the land and building. Their noble gesture stood as a shining example of how true transformation begins when individuals give back to their own communities.
As the gathering applauded, it became clear that philanthropy is not about wealth, but about the size of one’s heart.

More Than Just a School

This Kindergarten branch is more than walls and classrooms. It is:-
• A sanctuary of learning for the youngest minds.
• A promise of equal opportunity in rural Punjab.
• A living tribute to the power of community spirit.
The event was a healthy reminder that when faith and service unite, entire villages are uplifted.

Inspiration for Students

The story of Sheron’s new Akal Academy teaches us:-
Every big dream begins with a small, noble step.
• Service to others is the highest form of education.
• Together, we can transform rural societies with love, faith, and education.
