Akal Academy, Bilga hosted an exciting competition to foster knowledge about science and the environment. Conducted by TARAMANDALA, the 11th International Science Talent Search Exam 2016 welcomed enthusiastic participation from 77 students ranging from kindergarten to Grade 4.
The exam, held in September 2016, focused on general science and environmental awareness and was supervised by dedicated teachers: Ms. Arti Mahajan, Ms. Harjeet Kaur, Ms. Inderjit Kaur, and Ms. Harwinder Kaur.
A Proud Moment for Akal Academy Bilga
The results brought immense pride to the academy as eight students stood out for their exceptional performance. Four students achieved State-level awards, while another four bagged National-level awards, showcasing their excellence in science and environmental studies.
Awards and Recognition
The winners were celebrated with Gold Medals, certificates, and a set of three general knowledge books. In addition to students’ achievements, the guiding teachers were also recognized for their remarkable contributions:
- Ms. Arti Mahajan: Honored as the ‘Best Science Teacher’ with a Gold Medal, a certificate, and a set of books.
- Ms. Harjeet Kaur and Ms. Harwinder Kaur: Awarded as ‘Best Science Co-Guide Teachers’, receiving an attractive bag, certificates, and general knowledge books.
- Ms. Inderjit Kaur: Recognized as the ‘Best Science Organizer’ at the National level, awarded with a certificate and books.
- Principal Ms. Harpreet Kaur Sahni was awarded an Appreciation Certificate, attractive posters, and general knowledge books, as the school was named Best at the National Level for its overall performance.
