With the growing environmental challenges threatening our future, Akal Academy, Kajri Niranjanpur stepped forward with a powerful Earth Day celebration to plant seeds of awareness, activism, and responsibility among its young learners. On April 22, 2016, students turned artists, activists, and ambassadors for change, proving that age is no bar when it comes to saving the planet.
Poster & Model Making
The day began with a burst of creativity as students from various classes participated enthusiastically in poster making and model creation activities. Each stroke of color and each carefully built model told a story of nature’s beauty, of its suffering, and of what we must do to protect it.

Their posters and placards stood as vibrant reminders of the role youth must play in preserving Mother Earth.
A Rally for Reality – Spreading Awareness in the Community
With hearts full of purpose and hands holding slogan placards, students took out a rally through nearby areas to raise awareness about the environmental issues threatening our planet. Shouts of “Go Green” and “Say No to Plastic” echoed through the streets as passersby stopped to listen, smile, and applaud.
The community felt the impact and the students felt empowered.
Leading with Heart
Classes 9 and 10 extended their support not only through creative efforts but also through active participation in planning and execution. Teachers stood shoulder to shoulder with students to make this event a success.

A Green Reminder to All
This Earth Day was an inspiring event. A movement led by students who believe in action over apathy. At Akal Academy Kajri, the celebration proved that when young hearts come together with a shared vision, they can truly change the world.
Let this be a message to all students across our academies – “Be the change, Be the green warrior, Because the earth needs you now more than ever.”
