Every Drop Counts – Young Artists Paint a Powerful Message at Akal Academy Gomtipul

Celebrating World Water Day with Purpose & Passion

There is no doubt that water is our most miraculous and life-sustaining resource that holds the power to heal the future of our planet. On March 22, 2016, in honor of World Water Day, Akal Academy Gomtipul transformed its classrooms into canvases of awareness and action.
With a mission to instill a deep respect for water conservation among students, the Academy hosted a vibrant and thought-provoking Poster-Making Competition.

Bringing Ideas to Life, One Stroke at a Time

The initiative was made possible with the collaboration of an external organization, US Water, who introduced and supported the concept. At 12:00 PM sharp, the competition began, and within moments, the school buzzed with the sound of pencils sketching, brushes dancing, and colors speaking louder than words. Students from various classes poured their imagination onto paper, sending out a clear message to Save Water, Save Life.

Celebrating Young Champions of Change

To recognize and reward these young change-makers, cash prizes were awarded at the school level:-
Sumanpreet Kaur (Class VII-B) – 1st Prize – ₹2000
Naryanjeet Singh (Class VIII-B) – 2nd Prize – ₹1000
Harpreet Kaur (Class VIII-A) – 3rd Prize – ₹500
Their artwork represents activism, and their recognition stands as a shining example of what youth can achieve when driven by purpose.

Inspiration for the Next Generation

This initiative served as a reminder that change begins with awareness, and awareness begins with education. As our students expressed their concern for the planet through creativity, they also took the first step toward becoming guardians of nature. To all students reading this your voice matters. Whether it’s through art, science, or action be the change. Paint your passion, Speak for the planet.

Let’s pledge together – Every drop matters, every action counts.
