At Akal Academy Kajri, leadership begins in the classroom, nurtured through responsibility and trust. The Investiture Ceremony was organized to formally induct the new Student Council and instill in them the importance of leading with compassion, courage, and commitment.
Following the academy’s enduring philosophy of grooming the second line of administration, the event marked a vital step in shaping tomorrow’s leaders by placing the reins of student life into their capable hands.
Badges of Honour – Decorating the Future
Principal Mrs. Simran Kaur Thind took to the stage to formally grant the new leaders with their badges of honour that symbols are of authority as well as service, duty, and example.
As each council member stepped forward to receive their badge, the room echoed with applause a tribute to their dedication and potential. The ceremony was a call to action.
Housemasters and faculty members then led the students in an inspiring oath of office pledging honesty, discipline, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to the school’s values.
Voices of Vision – Head Boy & Head Girl Speak
The newly elected Head Boy Parminder Singh (Class XII Commerce) and Head Girl Simran Kaur Gill (Class XII Science) addressed the gathering with powerful words of promise and vision. They thanked the faculty for their trust and assured everyone of their and their council’s full cooperation in maintaining discipline and driving initiatives that enrich school life.
The Head Students, Parminder Singh Class and Simran Kaur Gill in their respective speeches assured their and their team’s cooperation in all the endeavours of the school and promised to be available as and when the school needed their help.
A Legacy of Leadership
In her concluding address, Principal Mrs. Thind urged the council to be more than office bearers to be mentors, role models, and the true face of Akal Academy Kajri.
“Leadership is about being the first to serve and the last to give up.”
She also expressed her gratitude to the Housemasters for nurturing discipline, dedication, and a sense of duty among students qualities that form the bedrock of true leadership.

To every student reading this leadership is a position, which is leaded through a great mindset. Whether you wear a badge or not, every day is a chance to lead by your choices, by your kindness, and by the values you uphold.
