Taking a powerful step toward nurturing the Earth and sowing the seeds of environmental responsibility, Akal Academy, Uddat Saidewala organized a “Go Green” tree plantation activity for students from Grades 1 to 8 under the guidance of Ms. Rajinder Kaur and Ms. Jasveer Kaur.
Little Hands, Big Mission
With hearts full of excitement and hands carrying saplings, students arrived with a mission to give back to Mother Earth. From flowering plants to shade-giving trees, a wide variety of green companions found new homes in the rich soil of the school campus.
Learning by Doing
In the presence of their teachers and the school gardener, the students planted the saplings with great care. They also learned the basics of plant care how to water them, how much sunlight they need, and why trees are essential for the environment.
Watering Roots, Nurturing Values
Once the plants were set, students took turns watering them and tidying the campus grounds. This hands-on experience instilled not just knowledge, but also a deep respect for nature, responsibility, and the joy of nurturing life.
