1150 Lives Touched in a Day
With a dedicated team of medical specialists and volunteers, the 57th Free Medical Check-up and Treatment Camp successfully reached over 1150 villagers. From infants to the elderly, patients received expert consultations and essential medicines completely free of cost.
A Mission of Mercy
This initiative is part of a larger movement led by The Kalgidhar Trust to bridge the healthcare gap in underserved rural regions across North India. The camps are one-time events, recurring lifelines ensuring continuity of care and identifying long-term medical needs.
Words that Inspire
To honor the occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Balvinder Singh Bhondadh graced the inauguration and applauded the Trust’s unwavering dedication. Principal Gurjeet Kaur of Akal Academy, Bhai Desa shared how the event not only healed bodies but lifted spirits and strengthened community ties.
Next Step – Life-Saving Surgeries
As part of this outreach, a list of critical patients was compiled. These individuals will soon receive free surgeries at the Akal Charitable Hospital, Baru Sahib (22nd–24th November). From diagnosis to recovery, every step is taken care of with utmost love and humility.
Beyond Classrooms – Lessons in Compassion
Such events reflect the soul of Akal Academies as a place of learning sanctuaries of values. Our students witness firsthand how service transforms lives, how true success lies in uplifting others, and how humanity becomes the greatest syllabus of all. To all those who walked the extra mile for others, your kindness will ripple through generations. May more hearts be inspired to serve selflessly, and may our villages always echo with the sound of healing and hope.
