They Greatly Dare Who Greatly Trust

“Encouragement costs you nothing to give, but it is priceless to receive.”
There would be nothing to frighten you if you refuse to be afraid. Gurpreet Kaur, 21, instills this wisdom in us by proving that we must let bygones be bygones and begin every day with a fresh start and a fearless spirit. Her strength lies in her tenacity and unshakable willpower.

Hard Work – The Hidden Face of Opportunity

Most people miss opportunity because it comes dressed in overalls and looks like hard work.
But Gurpreet is one of those who has broken through every obstacle and clutched opportunity with both hands to accomplish her ambitions.
Deprived of material wealth and born to a blue-collar family, she achieved her goals with pure dedication and continues to aspire for greater heights.
Her father, Balbir Singh, works in a factory in Amritsar, while her mother, Rajwant Kaur, is a homemaker. Despite a financially strained background, Gurpreet matriculated with 75% in CBSE from Guru Ram Das School and passed her 12th with 74% from a government school in Amritsar.
She truly embodies the quote “Perseverance is a great element for success.”

Faith – Her Guiding Light

“When you focus on being a blessing, God makes sure that you are blessed in abundance.”
Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.
Her faith in Babaji turned her shattered world into light again.
After her 12th exams, Gurpreet joined Akal Academy, Cheema Sahib (2009), enrolling in Religious Studies and English-speaking classes to polish her communication skills.
Later, she joined Akal Institute of Rural Women Empowerment (AIRWE), Baru Sahib, under The Kalgidhar Trust, for six months of intensive training, followed by two and a half years at Akal Academy, Chunni Kalan.
Today, she proudly teaches 5th-grade students at the I.B.O. School, Baru Sahib, continuing her journey of faith and purpose.

Living by Peace, Purpose, and Prayer

Sometimes, the quietest moments bring the greatest pleasure. Gurpreet believes that life’s true purpose is to spread the word of God, and that is exactly what she’s doing.
The Kalgidhar Trust not only nurtured her ambitions but also enriched her soul with spiritual wisdom. Her next goal is to complete her Bachelor’s degree and pursue a B.Ed from Eternal University, Baru Sahib.
Her compassionate nature and thirst for knowledge have made her a guide and inspiration for many young women like herself.

Education – The Weapon of Empowerment

Female education creates ripple effects across families and generations. It gives women the strength and knowledge to break the chains of oppression and inequality.
Women like Gurpreet are reshaping the image of womanhood, proving that a woman has the power to lead, inspire, and transform society.
Armed with education and determination, she stands as a new symbol of empowerment, showing that success belongs to those who refuse to surrender.

The Power of Faith and Confidence

The world is full of hidden wonders, but confidence is the inner voice that gives us the strength to uncover them.
Hats off to Gurpreet’s incomparable self-confidence and determination — she chose to be the creator of circumstances, not their victim.
Let her story remind us all that “Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible, and receives the impossible.”
