Stepping into Glory

The field at Government Senior Secondary School, Bilga recently roared with the echoes of cheering crowds and pounding footsteps as the Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji Kabaddi Academy hosted its Annual Athletic Meet and Games. Among the many spirited participants were the rising stars from Akal Academy, Bilga who competed with unmatched grit and grace.

Where Passion Met Performance

The championship featured a vibrant mix of athletic events from the speed-driven 100m and 200m sprints to the grit-testing Tug of War, thrilling Football match, and traditional Kabaddi bouts. Akal Academy students not only participated with enthusiasm but also impressed all with their well-coordinated march past.

Champions in Action

Grade X’s dynamic duo, Davinder Singh and Sukhjot Singh, lit up the track by securing third place in the 100m and 200m races respectively earning proud bronze medals. Stealing the spotlight was Grade XII’s Harmanpreet Kaur, whose blistering speed landed her second position in both the 100m and 200m races, taking home two glittering silver medals.

Pride Beyond the Podium

As they returned to campus, Principal Mrs. Harpreet Kaur Sahni and staff greeted them with thunderous applause, showering praise for their hard-earned victories. She highlighted the unwavering dedication of sports teachers Mr. Satnam Singh and Ms. Sandeep Kaur, whose training and mentorship laid the groundwork for these proud achievements.
