Planting the Future – Akal Academy Bilga’s Go Green Drive Blossoms with Purpose

Green Hearts, Growing Hopes

In a powerful step toward environmental supervising, Akal Academy Bilga’s – Go Green Club launched a heartwarming Plantation Drive an event that left green footprints on campus and lasting impressions in young minds.
Under the nurturing guidance of S. Ajinder Singh, Head of the Go Green Club, and a team of dedicated educators Ms. Jasvir Kaur, Ms. Inderjit Kaur, and Ms. Palvi Kapoor students were given a beautiful mission – to heal the Earth, one sapling at a time.

Learning Through Leaves – When Trees Became Teachers

Members of the Go Green Club Mr. Anuj Kumar, Ms. Kiran Bala, Ms. Amanjot, Ms. Gurjot Kaur, and Ms. Navjeet Kaur took the lead in inspiring students through speeches and interactions. They taught that trees are silent guardians of nature they are life-givers, air-purifiers, and our oldest allies in the fight against climate change.
Students learned firsthand the value of biodiversity, the importance of shade-giving trees, and how fruit and ornamental plants not only beautify but sustain life around them.

Roots of Responsibility

The event was about identifying the local regional plants, and then placing them after digging proper holes in the land. It was about planting the seeds of responsibility. Each sapling became a symbol of commitment. Each student, a steward of the Earth.
Principal Harpreet Kaur Sahni played a key role in anchoring the event with inspiration. In her address, she emphasized how small actions like planting a single tree can echo into a sustainable future.
“We must remember,” she said, “every tree we plant is a promise we make to the Earth and to generations yet to come.”

A Greener Legacy Begins

From shady trees to fruit-bearing ones, from soil to soul students gave life to the land and carried home a message that will grow with them – our environment is not someone else’s responsibility, it is ours.
This Plantation Drive was another regular event which is a step forward in nurturing eco-conscious citizens ready to protect the only home we all share.
So to all students, also remember – If Want to change the world? Start with a seed.
