But when tragedy struck, Kalgidhar Society, Baru Sahib stepped forward with unwavering seva, compassion, and action, bringing relief, rescue, and rehabilitation to those most affected.
Our Impact So Far – Reaching Where Help Was Needed Most
The relief mission continues tirelessly, touching lives across Pathankot, Fazilka, Tarn Taran, Amritsar, Firozpur, and Gurdaspur. Our on-ground teams have:
- Evacuated & relocated over 5,500 people to safety
- Delivered relief services in 153 flood-hit villages
- Deployed 6 rescue boats to reach stranded families
- Mobilized 150+ dedicated volunteers in continuous seva
This coordinated effort has saved lives, provided shelter, and restored dignity to those suffering.

Our mission goes beyond immediate rescue — it’s about helping people stand back on their feet.
- Repairing and rebuilding homes for affected families
- Burial of animals to prevent health hazards and epidemics
- Organizing free medical camps for those affected
