Service Beyond the Storm – Rebuilding Punjab with Love

When Floods Took Away, Seva Stepped In

The recent floods left Punjab shaken homes collapsed, farmlands buried under sand, and schools disrupted. Yet, amid this devastation, Akal Sewa Team volunteers stepped forward. From day one, they were on the ground, rescuing families, delivering food, and providing medicine, proving that hope always arrives with helping hands.

From Relief to Rebuilding

Baba Jagjit Singh informs – The initial phase was about Rescue, and providing Relief and resources.
This next phase is about Rahabilitation and Rebuilding Punjab.

The mission has now moved beyond survival. It is about restoring dignity and life:-
Repairing broken homes for displaced families
• Setting up fabricated shelters for those left without roofs
• Clearing sand from farmlands so crops can grow again
• Helping children continue their education after disaster
This is not just aid, it is Punjab da punar-nirmaan (the rebuilding of Punjab), step by step.

A Lesson in Seva and Unity

What makes this mission powerful is the strength of the Sangat. Together, volunteers and communities are proving that when hands join, even the heaviest burdens feel light.
For students, this is a reminder that real heroes aren’t just on screens, they’re everyday people who act with courage, compassion, and commitment.

“Floods may wash away homes, but they cannot wash away the spirit of unity and Sewa.”
