Challenges in Life
Life is not so smooth for Pinderpal Singh, a young rising star from the small village of Sardulgarh in Mansa, Punjab, with dreams as vast as the skies above him. But he often finds himself enveloped in loneliness. He grew up longing for love and guidance.
He lives with his ageing grandparents after his mother abandoned him, and his father, Granthi Singh, resides far away.
The family’s modest income posed another challenge, making even the thought of schooling seem like a far-off dream.
A Ray of Hope in Lonely World
Every gloomy night has a dawn. One fine day, they got a ray of hope when they discovered Akal Academy Kauriwara. His grandparents and father learned about the “Educate to Save” initiative, which offers free education to needy children in rural areas.
This opportunity became a turning point in Pinderpal’s life. Today, he is studying in grade 6th at Akal Academy Kauriwara. Pinderpal’s days are often spent in silence at home, but everything changes when he enters the world of music during school hours.
A Rising Star with a Heart Full of Dreams
“The credit for my success goes not only to me but also to my very supportive teachers. They identified my talent and have given wings to my dreams. Here at the academy, I found purpose and courage. I am grateful to my teachers who guide and support me,” shares Pinder Pal Singh.
Pinderpal’s dedication bore fruit when he stepped onto the “Kis Mein Kitna Hai Dum Talent Ka Mahasangram” at Doordarshan Punjabi. He showcased his skills and talent and shone brightly at “Kis Mein Kitna Hai Dum Talent Ka Mahasangram.” He clinched 2nd position in the state and 1st in the district level in the Kavishri category.
He often listens to the Kavishri of Bhai Mehal Singh (Chandigarh Wale), which inspires him to write and dreams of becoming a singer one day.
Power of Love, Learning, and Leadership
His story illustrates that anyone can turn adversity into opportunity with courage and dedication and is a testament to resilience and the power of education in changing lives. His journey is brimming with hope and achievement.
