Pardeep Singh, the youngest of five siblings, was born in a farmer’s family in the village of Udai Karanpur, Pilibhit. His father, determined to provide him with the best education, enrolled him in Akal Academy Baru Sahib during Class XI—a relatively late stage. Adjusting to life in Baru Sahib wasn’t easy for Pardeep, but within six months, he embraced the spiritual teachings and found peace in the Divine Valley.
Chasing Dreams on the High Seas
After completing Class XII at Baru Sahib, Pardeep set his sights on joining the Navy—a lifelong ambition. To pursue his dreams, he traveled to Pondicherry for Marine Studies. There, he successfully completed the Deck Cadet course, mastering firefighting, elementary first aid, and OTF (Oil Tanker Familiarization). His career began with sailing the waters across countries like Iran, Dubai, Iraq, Somalia, and Moscow.
Overcoming Unforeseen Challenges
Despite his initial success, life threw Pardeep a curveball. A severe shoulder dislocation became a barrier to his naval career, forcing him to step away from the profession he loved. Refusing to let adversity define him, Pardeep shifted gears. He pursued a BBA from Springdale College in Uttar Pradesh, followed by an MBA in Australia, where he also started his own construction company, M & K Concreting Services.
A Return to Family Values
As Pardeep’s career flourished, fate intervened once again. His parents fell ill, prompting him to prioritize family over professional aspirations. Reflecting on this decision, Pardeep shares:
“Parents come second only to God. I would rather drop my project and come back to India to be with them.”
Today, Pardeep is a private investor in the share market, successfully navigating life with resilience and gratitude.
A Heartfelt Tribute to Baru Sahib
Pardeep credits much of his success to the two transformative years he spent at Akal Academy Baru Sahib. He fondly recalls:
“The Baru Sahib experience is unparalleled. The spiritual and educational values I gained there changed my life. It’s nothing short of heaven. I am deeply grateful to Gurmeet Ma’am, my favorite teacher, and all the other teachers who guided me in the valley of divine peace.”
