Kirat Pal Sandhu, hailing from the rural charm of Bhadaur village, is a proud alumnus of Akal Academy Bhadaur. From an early age, he exhibited determination to overcome challenges and achieve greatness.

A Journey of Hard Work and Growth

After completing his 12th in the Science stream at Akal Academy Bhadaur, Kirat aspired to expand his horizons. His hard work and ambition led him to Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia, where he pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

With perseverance and dedication, Kirat successfully navigated the demands of his academic journey. Today, he serves as a Project Manager at the prestigious CSR Limited in Melbourne, a testament to his relentless pursuit of excellence.

Lessons from the Academy

Kirat credits much of his success to the transformative years he spent at Akal Academy Bhadaur. Reflecting on his experiences, he shares:

“When I first joined the Academy, I found it challenging to adjust to the strict disciplines, like wearing a dastar (turban) and engaging in simran (prayers). But now, living abroad, I deeply value those lessons. They instilled in me a sense of identity and resilience.”

He proudly acknowledges how the Academy’s nurturing environment prepared him to excel on an international platform:

“Many around me fall prey to addiction, but the teachings at Akal Academy instilled a voice within me that always says ‘no’ to drugs.”
