Today, he resides in Noida, thriving in his first job and planning an ambitious future.
Overcoming Adversity with Determination
Hailing from a middle-class family in Rajpura, Patiala, Parminder’s early life was marked by challenges. At just 3 ½ years old, he lost his father, leaving his bold mother and grandfather to shoulder the family’s responsibilities. Despite these hardships, they fulfilled his late father’s wish to enroll him in Akal Academy Baru Sahib—a decision that shaped Parminder’s life forever.
The Transformative Years at Baru Sahib
Parminder completed his schooling at Akal Academy Baru Sahib, graduating in 2008. Reflecting on his time there, he fondly recalls the holistic development he experienced—a perfect blend of academics, extracurricular activities, sports, and spirituality. He credits his dedicated teachers for instilling values, discipline, and excellence in every aspect of his education.
One of the most cherished aspects of his education was the daily Paath (prayer), which he continues to practice today, even amidst his busy schedule. The foundation laid at Baru Sahib has helped him navigate the demands of city life while staying rooted in his spiritual beliefs.

Parminder’s career aspirations began in the 9th grade when he set his sights on becoming a software developer. Achieving his goal with his role at HCL Technologies, he now looks forward to further growth and opportunities. With plans to pursue a master’s degree abroad, Parminder remains hopeful that his dreams will continue to come true with the blessings of Baru Sahib and the Almighty.
Advocating for Value-Based Education
Parminder is passionate about the importance of value-based education. He believes that most schools today lack the holistic approach provided by Akal Academy. According to him, education should not merely focus on achieving good marks but on shaping responsible citizens with strong moral values.
