Akal Academy, run by The Kalgidhar Trust, joyously celebrated Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Janam Prakash Utsav at its campus in Chugawan village. The event witnessed participation from students, staff, and the local community.
Soulful Shabad Kirtan and Cultural Performances
The Academy’s young students captivated the Sangat with a heartfelt Shabad Kirtan performance. A group of students also presented an engaging choreography highlighting the significance of Sikhi Swaroop, which gained much attention.
Inspiring Address by Academy’s Director
Director Harjeet Singh addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of Dharmic Vidya alongside academic education. He highlighted the institution’s commitment to multilingual studies for spreading Sikh teachings and shared the academy’s achievements.
Prize Distribution and Honoring Talent
Academy’s Principal, Harsharanjeet Kaur, along with Harjeet Veerji, awarded prizes to students for their outstanding performances. Several distinguished guests from the village, Gurdwara Sahib, and nearby areas graced the occasion.
