At Akal Academy Bilga, we believe that education is about building balanced individuals. Taking this spirit forward, the school proudly hosted its Annual Sports Meet 2016 for the Junior Wing on the school grounds, turning an ordinary day into a celebration of health, happiness, and holistic growth.
Every Child’s a Champion
With a motto of Every child deserves a moment to shine, the sports meet focused on complete participation, not just competition. From Kindergarten to Grade II, 197 tiny athletes came forward with boundless energy and endless enthusiasm. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was electric. The event began on a spiritual note with a Shabad recital by the students, followed by a march-past and a colorful choreography performance.
Races, Giggles, and Balloons
The sports events were designed to build encourage teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence. Activities included:-
• 50-meter race
• Frog race
• Spoon-Lemon race
• Get Ready for School race
• Balloon Blasting
Every event brought cheers from the crowd, giggles from the children, and applause from delighted parents.
Celebrating Participation, Rewarding Passion
Motivation came in the form of medals gold, silver, and bronze but every child walked away with a heart full of confidence and joy. The presence of S. Gyan Singh Bains ji, the Guest of Honour, along with Sewadar Tarlok Singh ji, added grace and blessings to the event.
Parents were special guests too, and their warm applause and cheerful encouragement made the day even more memorable. Their appreciation for the teachers hard work and the students spirit added to the overall celebration.
An Event to Remember
The event concluded with a warm vote of thanks by Principal Harpreet Kaur Sahni, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the guests, staff, and parents. She congratulated the winners and reminded every student that showing up with courage is a victory in itself.
The day ended with joyful smiles, shared memories, and refreshments served to students and guests alike because at Akal Academy Bilga, every celebration ends with togetherness.
