Kabeer, I Long to Die – A Tribute to Sikh Sacrifice & Unshakable Faith Embracing Martyrdom with Courage, Living the Guru’s Legacy with Love

“The soul that walks humbly to the Door of the Divine, seeking not life but the Lord, finds eternal grace.”

This spirit, etched into the heart of Sikh philosophy, came alive as students at Akal Academy, Makhangarh watched a deeply moving video that echoed with the echoes of history, sacrifice, and unbreakable faith. The verse by Sant Kabir Ji “Kabeer, I long to die – let me die at the Lord’s Door” set the tone for a stirring reflection on what it means to surrender, to sacrifice, and to serve.

The Flame of Faith – Remembering the Martyrs

The video chronicled the legendary courage of Bhai Mati Das Ji and Bhai Sati Das Ji, whose stories of brutal martyrdom continue to ignite the Sikh spirit centuries later. Bound and tortured, yet unflinching in devotion, these noble souls embodied true surrender to the Divine Hukam (Will of God). They didn’t cry out in pain instead, they radiated divine grace.

The Warrior Saint – Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Supreme Sacrifice

From the sacrifice of his father, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, to the martyrdom of his own sons the Sahibzaade. Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s life is a untold story of supreme courage and unwavering faith. His vision wasn’t for just one community, but for all of humanity free, fearless, and faithful. In the annals of the world there is no parallel to the sacrifices made by Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
