In a powerful tribute to one of Earth’s most vital resources, Akal Academy Bilga came alive with passion and purpose as it celebrated International Water Day. With a wave of enthusiasm and creativity, the students united under one banner – “Save Water, Secure Our Future.”

The day was filled with a host of activities designed to educate and inspire. Students from various classes participated in:-

The school campus became a gallery of powerful artwork vivid expressions that highlighted both the crisis and the hope for a water-secure tomorrow.
Words That Moved Minds
Teacher Inderjit Kaur delivered a heartfelt speech that sparked a deeper understanding among the students. With stories, statistics, and a call to action, she encouraged the young minds to adopt water-conserving habits in their daily lives. Her words became a ripple effect stirring awareness and sparking pledges.
A Pledge to Protect
Students took a collective pledge, vowing to avoid water wastage and educate their families and communities on the urgency of saving water. Their commitment echoed through the school grounds, transforming awareness into personal responsibility.
A Living Symbol – The Human Water Drop
The most visually impactful moment of the day came when the students assembled to form a giant “Human Water Drop.” Clad in blue, this living sculpture sent a resounding message to the world – “Together, we are the drop. Together, we are the ocean.”

Principal Harpreet Kaur Sahni addressed the gathering, lauding the students participation and vision. They are the torchbearers of tomorrow. The Earth needs them not just to dream of change, but to be the change.
