Shaping Dreams with Clay
With vibrant colors, eager hands, and bursting imaginations, students at Akal Academy, Bhadaur recently came together to shape more than just clay they shaped confidence, creativity, and camaraderie. The Art & Craft Department successfully hosted an exciting Inter-House Clay Model Activity, transforming ordinary clay into extraordinary expressions of young talent.
Two Groups, One Passion
The competition was held across two age groups to ensure equal opportunities for all:-
• Group A – Classes I to IV
• Group B – Classes VI to VIII
A total of 26 enthusiastic students participated, each one ready to put their artistic flair to the test.
Creative Moments from the Event
The school buzzed with excitement as little hands pressed, rolled, twisted, and molded clay into amazing forms from nature-inspired figures to fantasy creations. The atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, and a healthy spirit of competition. Taking rounds to encourage each participant was Principal Ms. Gurdeep Kaur, whose presence further motivated the students. She was deeply impressed by their dedication and originality. These moments define what education should look like joyful, hands-on, and full of expression.
Highlights Of The Day
After much deliberation and appreciation of each student’s work, the winners were declared:-
- Ajay and Atul – for their detailed and imaginative craftsmanship
- Amul and Abahi – for their creativity and technique
All participants received heartfelt applause for their unique efforts, proving that every child has the spark of an artist within.
