A young BA final-year student at Akal College, Khamanon, District Fatehgarh Sahib, born to a labourer father and a homemaker mother, living with 50% paralysis due to Cerebral Palsy. Yet, she’s a warrior, smashing every barrier the world dared to set. Meet Babanpreet Kaur, a para-athlete in the T35/36/37/38 category, whose spirit is unstoppable.

Breaking Barriers, Winning Medals

Babanpreet’s achievements speak louder than words:-
3 Silver Medals at the World Ability Sports, Thailand (2023–24 & 2024–25).
Silver in 100m & Bronze in 200m at the Khelo India Para Games 2024–25 (U-20 category).
• Upcoming milestones – Qualifier for Paralympics 2028 (USA) and preparing to represent India at the World Football League in England.
For someone once told what she “couldn’t do,” her medals are proof of what happens when determination meets opportunity.
