Honoured for Humanity – Indian Army Recognizes Kalgidhar Society’s Selfless Flood Relief Service

Honoured by the Indian Army for Courage and Compassion

The Kalgidhar Society, Baru Sahib, has been honoured by the Indian Army (324 Field Regiment) for its dedicated contribution during the Punjab Flood Relief Operations 2025, conducted from 27 August to 13 September in Ramdas and Ajnala.

A Certificate of Appreciation, presented by Colonel Viplav Anand on 4 October 2025, stands as a testament to the Society’s tireless efforts in rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of flood-affected families.

Serving Humanity, Rebuilding Hope

Working hand in hand with the Indian Army, volunteers of The Kalgidhar Society proved that true strength lies in compassion. Their service extended beyond emergency aid — focusing now on rehabilitation through new homes and education support for children impacted by the floods.
