The Punjab Floods Disaster 2025

In September 2025, as relentless monsoon floods swept across parts of Punjab, thousands of families found their lives suddenly disrupted. Homes were submerged, livelihoods paused, and daily essentials became scarce.

In moments like these, relief is not just the lifeline. It is also about restoring dignity, hope, and human connection.

In partnership with Amazon Disaster Relief and Donatekart, The Kalgidhar Society stepped forward to serve communities affected by the floods in Firozpur and Fazilka. Through this collaboration, 1,300 essential relief items were distributed to families struggling to rebuild their lives amidst uncertainty.

This effort – driven by seva – is not an act of obligation, but a responsibility rooted in values.

Every relief kit represents the silent promise that even in the harshest circumstances, humanity stands together.

Recognition of the humanitarian selfless service

The certificate of recognition received for this initiative does not belong to any one organization or individual. It belongs to:
• Every volunteer who showed up selflessly, without hesitation
• Every supporter who believed in service before comfort
• Every hand that packed, lifted, transported, distributed, and prayed
• Every heart that chose compassion over indifference

This recognition is a tribute to the power of collective action of organizations, partners, and individuals unite with a shared purpose: to serve humanity.

There is still along way to go

Yet, this is not the end of the journey.
Crises do not pause, and neither can compassion. The work of service continues wherever there is need;  quietly, consistently, and with unwavering commitment.
