“Where Innovation Meets Opportunity And Students Lead the Change”
The College of Agriculture at Eternal University recently hosted a seminar that filled minds with possibility. Titled as “AI’s Impact on Agriculture and Digital Strategies,” the event brought together thought leaders and curious students for an afternoon that was as educational as it was inspiring.
AI is the New Farmhand
The first keynote speaker, Dr. Malwinder Singh Malhi, captivated the audience with a bold vision – Smart Agriculture Powered by Artificial Intelligence.
From soil sensors that predict water needs to drones monitoring crop health, Dr. Malhi showcased how farmers are being joined by algorithms, data, and machines that make farming more efficient, sustainable, and scalable.
Students were visibly engaged, jotting notes and nodding as he painted a picture of a greener, well informed future.
“If You’re Not Using AI in Digital Marketing, You’re Already Behind”
Switching gears to the world of pixels and platforms, Ms. Komal Chopra Lekhi took the stage to explain how AI is rewriting the rules of e-commerce and digital marketing.
She introduced students to AI-powered analytics, targeted customer journeys, and real-time campaign optimization.
“The brands winning today are the ones who understand their audience faster and AI is their secret weapon,” she explained.
Her workshop-style talk ignited excitement among students from business, IT, and even agriculture backgrounds, proving that digital literacy is now everyone’s business.
Ideas Were Sparked, Futures Were Reimagined.
The seminar ended with applause, Students flooded the speakers with questions, shared startup ideas, and even brainstormed interdisciplinary projects that combine agriculture and AI.
“This event made me realize I can merge my passion for farming with my interest in coding,” shared Simranjeet Kaur, a B.Sc. Agriculture student.
“I’m already sketching out a prototype for an AI-based irrigation assistant!”
