In a remarkable display of awareness, responsibility, and scientific understanding, Akal Academy Kajri marked World Hepatitis Day with an inspiring and educational seminar titled “Prevent Hepatitis – It’s Up to You”. The event was aimed at educating young minds about the different types of Hepatitis, their causes, and the critical role early screening plays in saving lives.
Science and Society – Seminar Highlights
The seminar opened with engaging discussions led by the school’s Science faculty, who set the foundation with a detailed overview of Hepatitis and its various types A, B, C, D, and E. They emphasized the importance of vaccination, hygiene, and awareness in both prevention and control.
Interactive Presentations
Mr. Dineshwar Dutt, PGT Biology, brought the session to life with a vivid PowerPoint presentation and interactive visuals. His ability to simplify complex medical terms into student friendly knowledge made the topic understandable but also relatable.
Voices of Awareness
Students of Classes XI and XII took center stage with informative speeches that reflected both their scientific acumen and their compassion for community well-being.
Anmoldeep Kaur, Jashandeep Kaur, Pratishta Tripathi, Pawanpreet Singh, and Daljeet Singh each spoke eloquently on the causes, symptoms, myths, and prevention of Hepatitis.
Their messages went beyond the textbook, creating a ripple effect of awareness that inspired their peers to become more conscious of personal and public health.

• Mrs. Kanak Tripathi and Mr. Vimal Kumar (House Master, Amul House), who efficiently anchored the program.
• Mr. Philip Xavier, Head Librarian & Media, who supported visual content and ensured the session was engaging and memorable.
