When Classrooms Turn into Continents
In a spectacular display of multicultural unity, the students of Akal Academy, Baru Sahib, from Nursery to Grade 5, took center stage at the Cultural Bonanza 2025. What a stage it was Transformed into a world map of traditions, languages, rhythms, and values, the event was a live showcase of what it means to be a global citizen.
From the Roof of the World to the Drums of Africa
Each performance was a passport to a new land.
- Nepal brought forward its sacred music and mountain attire.
- Maharashtra burst forth with electrifying Lavani steps and folk crafts.
- Africa drummed its heartbeat into the amphitheatre.
- Jammu & Kashmir swept the audience into its mystical folklore and elegant artifacts.

What made this celebration even more exceptional was that it was completely student-led. From anchoring and stage design to performances and backstage coordination, every detail was infused with the originality, creativity, and confidence of IB PYP learners.
