Daljot Kaur is making a profound impact as a Physiotherapist at the Special Children Hospital, Astha Rehabilitation Centre in Mohali. Every day, she brings relief and hope to differently-abled children, receiving their love and smiles in return. Prior to this, she served at Indus Hospital, Mohali, after completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.
A Rural Girl’s Dream Realized
Coming from a middle-class farming family, Daljot’s journey to success has been remarkable. Her father juggled farming and a government job to support the family, which also includes her younger sister and twin brothers. Through determination and the support of Akal Academy, she secured the 3rd rank in the merit list for admission to Baba Farid University, earning a seat among 250 candidates.
