After the successful establishment of 129 K-12 schools and two private universities, Baru Sahib is now taking the next step by launching Eternal Global University (EGU) based in Washington DC. The university aims to provide accessible, high-quality education through online platforms for students across the globe. With a focus on technology, engagement, and cost-effective learning, EGU will offer unique academic programs that reflect Guru Nanak’s universal teachings.

According to Baba Iqbal Singh, President of The Kalgidhar Trust, the goal of EGU is to create a space for students, scholars, teachers, and community leaders to engage with and research the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. The university will also promote comparative religious studies, fostering mutual understanding and harmony between different faiths.

Atwal, the head of EGU, highlighted that the university would develop programs in Punjabi language, Sikh culture, history, and Gurmat studies.
