On October 17, 2015, creativity lit up the classrooms as the Inter-Class Story Writing Competition unfolded. Organized by Ajay House and the Department of English, the event offered budding writers a stage to express their linguistic skills and their values, emotions, and imaginations.
To encourage original thinking, participants were given themes on the spot each a timeless moral:-
- Try, Try Again and You Will Win
- Unity is Strength
- A Stitch in Time Saves Nine
- Honesty Pays Back
- Truth Wins at Last
Students sat deep in thought, their minds stirring with imagery and inspiration. Stories began to bloom crafted with carefully chosen characters, vivid language, and messages that echoed the strength of integrity and perseverance.
A Learning Experience Beyond Grammar
Guided by mentors Mr. Sudhir, Ms. Navdeep, and Mrs. Harpinder Kaur, the students were encouraged to develop their English language skills, with a keen sense of storytelling structure, emotional impact, and moral clarity. Mr. Philip Xavier, the Library Head, preserved this inspiring session through a gallery of expressive photographs capturing thought, concentration, and creativity in motion.
Recognizing the Storytellers of Tomorrow
Principal Mrs. Simran Kaur Thind applauded the efforts of both teachers and students. Every child holds a universe of thoughts. Events like this unlock those universes that cultivate confidence, critical thinking, and compassion.
