From rural roots to serving the nation – an inspiring story of a Rural Boy

We often say that you should dream of what you want to become, but children living in rural areas were not allowed to dream that big until Akal Academy, Baru Sahib, showed them a ray of hope. The people who are willing to work hard in life are the ones who make great success stories. Akal Academy, Baru Sahib polishes such diamonds with spiritual and academic knowledge.

As a result, the students who were earlier doomed in the darkness of a lack of opportunities are now shining with a successful future. That is only possible through education.

Nurturing Growth

Chasanpreet Singh an alumnus of Akal Academy Jagga Ram Tirath, and Akal Academy Reeth Kheri has become an SSB sub-inspector. He hails from a farming background of village Natheha, leading a very simple childhood.

His destiny brought him to the divine center of education. He pursued his 10th-grade education at Akal Academy Jagga Ram Tirath and secured a 10 CGPA. When he got admission in the academy, he was so impressed by the quality of education, a blend of spiritual and modern scientific education, that he got baptized and became an “Amritdhari.”.

Further moving towards his dream, he pursued his 12th-grade education at Akal Academy Reeth Kheri and secured 94.6% in the non-medical stream.

Aspirations to Achievements

‘Akal Academy teaches how to put your heart, soul, mind, and values into even your smallest acts. With this mindset, he further started his journey of serving his nation. When all his cousins were settled abroad, he decided to stay in his own country and serve his nation.

Chasanpreet Singh cleared the Punjab Police exam. He secured the 6th rank in the Municipal Corporation Exam and 13th rank in the PSSB Fireman Exam.

Currently, he is working as a fireman at a fire station in Bathinda, Punjab. He also cleared the SSC CPO exam and secured AIR 356, in which more than 800,000 students appeared but only 1700 were selected, and he is one of them.

He was always determined and focused on his goal. During the preparation for the competitive exams, he used to get a chance to speak over the phone to his parents only once a week.

Now reaping the fruit of his hard work, he got posted as an SSB Sub Inspector in the Nepal Border Force.
