The year marks the 350th Shaheedi Shatabdi of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji the ninth Guru of the Sikhs revered across the world for his timeless message of fearlessness sacrifice and unity of humanity. To commemorate his supreme sacrifice a spiritually enriching Nagar Kirtan was organized carrying the divine resonance of Gurbani and the message of Sarbat da Bhala for humanity.
Honouring the Protector of Human Rights
In 1675 Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji laid down his life to protect freedom of faith and human rights for all. His unparalleled bravery stands as one of the greatest sacrifices in world history symbolizing that righteousness and humanity are above every power. The Nagar Kirtan served as a living tribute to his legacy inspiring generations to uphold justice compassion and unity.
Sacred Procession — From Baru Sahib to Anandpur Sahib
The Nagar Kirtan commenced from Gurdwara Shri Baru Sahib radiating divine energy and spiritual devotion. The spiritual yatra passed through:
- Rajgarh
- Solan
- Kalka
- Pinjore
- Baddi
- Kiratpur Sahib
Thousands joined the journey with devotion singing Gurbani carrying the Nishan Sahib and expressing unwavering faith.
The sacred procession concluded at Gurdwara Shri Sis Ganj Sahib Anandpur Sahib — the holy site where the Seesh of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji was cremated by Shri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji.
A Divine Vision of Unity
The Nagar Kirtan was a powerful example of Sikh unity and humanity. Children youth and elders walked together spreading love harmony and awareness of Guru Sahib’s teachings.
