Gureak Singh, a sixth-grader at Akal Academy Gomti, stands out among his peers despite being differently abled in hearing and speech. His remarkable talent for beautiful, accurate, and controlled handwriting in English, Punjabi, and Hindi has amazed his teachers.

A Hidden Talent Discovered

While only his language teachers were aware of his exceptional skills, his talent was brought to light during a routine class inspection by Principal Mr. A.S. Guleria. Impressed by Gureak’s handwriting and artistic abilities, Sewadar S. Balbir Singh Ji honored him and appreciated the efforts of his language teachers—Mrs. Preeti Bhatia, Mr. Bhupinder Singh, Mr. Tulsi, and Mr. Harpreet Singh.
