On October 10, 2025, The Kalgidhar Society observed World Mental Health Day at Gurdwara Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, Chandigarh, carrying forward the divine mission of Sant Baba Iqbal Singh Ji — to nurture emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being.
The event reflected the society’s continuous commitment to empowering individuals through compassion, faith, and mindfulness, aligning with the vision of Educate to Save Humanity.
Launch of “Rewiring the Brain for Wellness”
A highlight of the event was the launch of Dr. (Col) Rajinder Singh’s transformative book, “Rewiring the Brain for Wellness.”
The book serves as a practical guide to natural healing through mindfulness, yoga, and positive living, offering readers a way to strengthen their mental resilience and embrace a life of balance and peace.
CSR Partnership for a Greater Cause
The Kalgidhar Society expressed heartfelt gratitude to CitiusTech for extending CSR support to the Akal Drug De-Addiction Centres.
This collaboration strengthens the mission of promoting holistic mental wellness and restoring lives affected by addiction through care, counselling, and spiritual guidance.
New Initiatives for a Brighter Tomorrow
Blessed by Dr. Davinder Singh Ji, President of The Kalgidhar Trust, the event also saw the launch of two major initiatives:
24×7 Counselling Helpline (+91-9805098716) — providing continuous emotional and psychological support for those in distress.
“Chardikala Studio” — a unique platform aimed at spreading mental health awareness and resilience through creative storytelling, music, and community engagement.
Continuing the Legacy of Compassion
Through initiatives like these, The Kalgidhar Society continues to inspire hope, heal minds, and uplift communities. Guided by the teachings of Sant Baba Iqbal Singh Ji, the Trust remains committed to creating a world where mental wellness, spirituality, and humanity coexist in harmony.
