Born into a farmer’s family in Nanansu village, Patiala, Jagatjot Singh’s dreams were far from ordinary. From a young age, he aspired to make a difference in society. He completed his high school education at Akal Academy Balbehra, standing out with his keen interest in politics and his determination to serve the community.
A Dream to Save Punjab
Jagatjot’s ultimate goal was to eradicate the menace of drug addiction plaguing Punjab. With a vision to transform his homeland, he aspired to enter politics and tackle the problem at its very roots. His high aspirations drove him to pursue higher education after completing his 12th grade at Akal Academy Baru Sahib.
Building a Foundation for Leadership
Jagatjot pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Khalsa College in Amritsar, one of the top institutions in Punjab. Although he chose not to pursue further studies, his unwavering dedication to his dream of becoming a politician guided his path. He believed in achieving success through hard work and honesty, supported by his father’s blessings and spiritual values.
A Step Closer to His Dream
Today, Jagatjot is closer than ever to fulfilling his ambitions. He has been appointed as the in-charge of the Students Organization of India (SOI), Punjab. This milestone brings him one step closer to his goal of serving the community and creating a drug-free Punjab.
Reflections on Baru Sahib’s Influence
Jagatjot credits Akal Academy Baru Sahib for shaping his character and instilling spiritual values in him. Reflecting on his time there, he shares:
“Baru Sahib is a great institution. The spiritual values I learned there have helped me build confidence and clarity toward my goals. The place feels like heaven on Earth, and it taught me the true meaning of life and humanity.”
He adds,
“I salute Baba Iqbal Singh Ji for his selfless service to humanity. His work inspires me every day to stay true to my path.”
