Jeevan Singh Bhatth – From Rayia Village to IAS Aspirant – A Journey of Determination

Jeevan Singh Bhatth, an alumnus of Akal Academy, hails from the agrarian village of Rayia. With the support of his family and the strong foundation laid during his school years, Jeevan is now preparing for one of the most prestigious examinations in India – the IAS, alongside PCS, to fulfill his dream of serving society as a DSP or SDM.

Supportive Family and Rural Roots

Jeevan’s family has always been his pillar of strength. Belonging to an agrarian background, his family never faced financial hardships during his schooling due to their ample landholdings. His parents, especially his mother, have consistently supported his education and aspirations.

Fond Memories of Akal Academy

Jeevan cherishes the nurturing environment of Akal Academy, which felt like home. He remembers the invaluable guidance of Principal S. Kanwalpreet Kaur Sandha, who remains a source of inspiration despite now residing in Canada.

The disciplined routines at school, including regular Paath and visits to the Gurdwara, instilled spiritual values and a sense of purpose in him. Reflecting on those days, Jeevan admits he misses the serene environment amidst the demanding lifestyle of IAS preparation.

Aspirations and Current Pursuits

After completing his B.Tech from Banda Singh Bahadur College in 2013, Jeevan embarked on his journey to prepare for IAS and PCS exams. Currently, he is also pursuing a course in Public Administration to enhance his understanding of governance and policymaking. He dreams of becoming a DSP or SDM to make a positive impact on society and serve the nation.

A Message to Akal Academy

Jeevan urges Akal Academy to invite senior alumni to mentor students, especially those in 10th and +2 classes. Sharing real-life experiences and providing career counseling could guide young minds and help them shape their future.

Advice to Parents and Students

Jeevan appeals to rural parents to prioritize their children’s education by enrolling them in good schools and supporting them to the best of their abilities. To students, he emphasizes the importance of hard work, perseverance, and self-belief, reminding them that any goal is achievable with determination.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Warm Regards,
Jeevan Singh Bhatth
