Marching Against Malaria – Akal Academy, Kajri Leads a Rally of Awareness, Action, and Altruism

In a powerful demonstration of community spirit, responsibility, and proactive learning, Akal Academy, Kajri organized a meaningful Anti-Malaria Awareness Rally in the surrounding areas of Kajri Niranjanpur village. This was a movement that brought students, teachers, and villagers together in a mission to fight deadly vector-borne diseases like malaria, dengue, and typhoid.

Students Turned Health Warriors

Armed with posters, slogan placards, kerosene sprays, and an undeterred spirit, students of Class IX, accompanied by dedicated teachers and community members, walked through potholed village streets to educate the public about disease prevention. With each step, they spread awareness and with every spray, they ensured safety.

Street Plays with a Message

What made this rally stand out were the impactful street plays performed by students. These dramatizations brought to light the symptoms, causes, and preventative measures of malaria and other waterborne diseases in a format that was accessible, emotional, and deeply educational for villagers of all ages.

A Community Comes Together

In a heartwarming display of solidarity, village residents joined hands with the students, offering support and assistance during the rally. The message was clear that health is not just personal it’s collective.

Appreciation & Applause

Principal Mrs. Simran Kaur Thind applauded the efforts of students, teachers, and parents, stating, “This rally is a testimony to what education looks like beyond the classroom where knowledge becomes action, and action becomes change.” She was joined by supportive staff members including Mr. Ashok Singh Guleria, Mr. Vijaypal Singh, Mr. Philip Xavier, Mrs. Kanchan Mishra, Ms. Anshul Bhardwaj, Mr. Vikas Vajpai, and school assistant Mr. Anup all of whom contributed actively to the success of this initiative.

Planting the Seeds of Public Health Awareness

Through this campaign, students does learn about public health but they also lived it. They realized that change begins with awareness, and awareness begins with a single step. That step was taken, not just for their own safety, but for the wellbeing of their entire village.
Let this be a reminder that when schools nurture socially conscious students, communities thrive.
