Tech in the Classroom – Preparing Future-Ready Learners
At Akal Academy, Bilga, the future is knocking the classroom. With the school board encouraging digital learning from early grades, our students recently participated in a tech – powered learning event that sparked excitement across the campus.
The school hosted an interactive quiz session called “Net Champs”, conducted by the HT Group, aiming to educate and empower rural students with essential internet knowledge.
‘Net Champs’ Quiz – Where Fun Met Fundamentals
Led by Ms. Gazal and Mr. Sandeep Sharma from the HT Group, the session was about responsible usage, digital awareness, and knowing the internet’s power to unlock endless learning opportunities.
Ms. Gazal delivered an insightful lecture covering:-
• The advantages and disadvantages of the internet
• Smart ways to explore safely and wisely online
• How the internet can transform learning and access to knowledge
Battle of Brains
Two exciting rounds of quizzes were conducted under the guidance of Activity Incharge Ms. Inderjit Kaur:-
• Round 1 – Students from Grades V and VI, grouped into four competitive teams
• Round 2 – Students from Grades VII and VIII, also divided into four dynamic teams
The students responded enthusiastically, showcasing their quick thinking and deep interest in internet literacy. Every question was met with eager hands and bright answers.

The event concluded with a heartfelt prize distribution ceremony.

She expressed her gratitude to the HT Group for organizing such an invaluable session and urged students to use the internet as a tool for learning, growth, and global understanding.
Digital Literacy, Empowered Learners
This event was the beginning of a journey into smart, informed, and ethical digital citizenship for the students of Akal Academy Bilga. The internet is a powerful place but even more powerful are the young minds who learn to use it wisely. With knowledge in their minds and tech in their hands, our students are ready to connect with the world.
