Honoring a Visionary Leader: Sant Teja Singh Ji Day Celebration

Sikh youth gathered to commemorate the legacy of Sant Teja Singh Ji, a revered Saint Scholar and visionary leader. Over three days, the event paid tribute to his pioneering efforts in establishing the Khalsa Diwan Society and advocating for Sikh rights in Canada. Beginning with the Akhand path Arambh on Friday, July 5th, the program featured Katha Darbar, Kirtan, and culminated in Sant Teja Singh Day on July 7th.

The main event included the Akhand path Bhog, Gurmat Samagam, and a conference highlighting Sant Teja Singh Ji’s contributions. Notable speakers, including Prof. Gurvinder S Dhaliwal, Bhai Sulakhan Singh, and Bhai Mandeep Singh, shared insights into his legacy and impact on the South Asian community in Canada. Attendees had the opportunity to explore a special exhibition on Sant Teja Singh Ji’s life and mission, further honoring his lasting influence on the Sikh community
