With the divine blessings of Baba Ji, Akal Academy Bhadaur was transformed into a sanctified haven of peace and joy as the school community came together to celebrate the Gurpurab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji with immense devotion and collective spirit.
The occasion witnessed the Samapti (culmination) of two Shri Akhand Path Sahib Ji recitations. Students and teachers alike took active part in this sacred journey, enveloping the campus in the blissful vibrations of Gurbani.
Procession of Reverence
Following the Bhog ceremony, Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was gracefully escorted to the Pandal amidst the sound of spiritual hymns and full traditional reverence. With folded hands and bowed heads, students paid homage to the Guru Sahib, radiating devotion and gratitude.
A Celebration by the Children, for the Guru
The main event unfolded beautifully under the joint stewardship of Ms. Ramandeep Sharma and Class 11 student Deepali Talwar. What followed was a mesmerizing display of student-led spirituality:
• Gurbani Shabad recitations from Nursery to Class 12.
• Inspiring speeches and divine Sakhies (Guru Ji’s stories).
• Kwishries, devotional songs, and poems.
• Choreographed skits and plays rooted in Sikh heritage.
• An impressive exhibition of self-made models by students showcasing their knowledge and creativity on Sikh history and values.
Honouring Talent, Instilling Values
The spiritual and cultural celebration was further elevated by the presence of esteemed local guests including the SHO, the local Bank Manager, renowned bodybuilder Gobind Singh, and Baba Chamkaur Singh of Gurdwara Bhan Singh, among other dignitaries. They honored meritorious students with awards, reinforcing the value of dedication and excellence. Our respected Principal Madam extended heartfelt gratitude to the guests and encouraged all students to live by the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji of humility, selfless service, and truthful living.
The Langar Seva exemplified Guru Nanak’s vision of equality and shared humanity, as the Sangat partook in the holy meal together in a spirit of unity and love.

The entire atmosphere was drenched in positivity and spirituality. The aura was transformational. The celebration was a event to experience spiritual believe with the teachings of our Guru’s. One that educated hearts, enshrined values, and empowered young minds to walk on the Guru’s path.
