Faith Beyond Boundaries – Malkeet Tahim’s Inspiring Journey

Embracing Faith at Baru Sahib

Malkeet Tahim, a devoted Muslim student, is pursuing her education at Baru Sahib. She remains steadfast in her faith, performing Namaaz five times a day and observing Roza during Ramadan.

A Journey from Mansa to Baru Sahib

Hailing from Mansa, Punjab, Malkeet first heard about Baru Sahib’s spiritual environment while studying at Sarkari Kanya School. Her father, Mr. Majar Khan, encouraged her to enroll at Baru Sahib, where she was welcomed with open arms, despite her different religious background.

Blending Islamic and Sikh Traditions

Beyond her Islamic practices, Malkeet actively participates in Sikh traditions. She dedicates four hours to Akhand Path Sewa, reciting Gurbani with deep devotion. Her faith is further strengthened by her supportive parents, who encourage her spiritual journey.

Unwavering Devotion and Spiritual Growth

During the 50th Barsi of Sant Teja Singh Ji, 131 Akhand Paths were conducted, and Malkeet contributed selflessly by performing Sewa for 12 hours straight. She has also learned Gurmukhi and is passionate about playing the harmonium.

A Message of Unity and Compassion

Malkeet believes that all religions lead to one Supreme God. She says, “Faith unites us beyond language, color, and customs. True devotion lies in love, compassion, and surrendering to the Almighty.”

Faith Knows No Boundaries

Malkeet’s story is a testament to the power of faith, love, and unity. Her journey at Baru Sahib exemplifies how spiritual growth flourishes when hearts remain open, proving that faith has no religion—only devotion.
