The Kalgidhar Society – Baru Sahib is a non-profit organization dedicated to quality education and combating drug and alcohol abuse. With a focus on healthcare, women empowerment, and social welfare, the Society has significantly impacted rural North India’s socio-economic landscape.
Baba Iqbal Singh’s Educational Mission
Praised by the former PM, Baba Iqbal Singh’s NGO manages 130 Akal Academies across multiple states, including Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. These institutions provide value-based education inspired by traditional Gurukul teachings.

Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal lamented the dire state of Punjab’s youth, calling for immediate action to rebuild its future.
