With the divine blessings of Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji, the students and staff of Akal Academy Bhadaur came together to celebrate the Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji the embodiment of courage, knowledge, and spiritual strength. From the tiniest learners in Nursery to the senior-most students in Class XII, everyone participated with religious fervour and devotion, making the celebration a vibrant blend of faith, music, and history.
Voices of Devotion – Shabad Kirtan & Kavishri
The religious programme began on a melodious note with the students performing Shabad Kirtan, filling the hall with a serene, spiritual energy. With voices so innocent yet powerful, the students sang praises of Guru Gobind Singh Ji that touched every heart present.
The highlight of the morning was the Kavishri and poetic tributes sung by students, retelling the inspiring episodes from Guru Sahib’s life his bravery in the battlefield, his deep compassion, and his dedication to righteousness.
Learning Through Legacy – Stories of the Guru
Music teachers and spiritual guides took this opportunity to enlighten students about Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s glorious legacy a warrior, a saint, a poet, and the eternal protector of Dharma. Stories from his life from creating the Khalsa to sacrificing his sons for the cause of justice were shared with deep emotion and reverence. Students listened with rapt attention and wide-eyed awe, absorbing the greatness of their heritage.
A Celebration of Culture and Character
This beautiful programme was organized by Atul House, with the enthusiastic support of the entire teaching staff. Their collaboration brought out a vibrant yet respectful celebration that truly honoured the occasion. As a token of blessings and to complete the spiritual circle, Karah Prasad was served to all students and staff. Principal Ms. Gurdeep Kaur praised the students for their participation and heartfelt performances, encouraging them to live by the principles of Guru Gobind Singh Ji truth, courage, service, and humility.
