Both kacha (mud) and paka (brick) houses have been destroyed, and their crops have been washed away, making it impossible to grow again anytime soon. Amidst this devastation, Kalgidhar Trust Baru Sahib is providing langar daily to ensure that no family goes hungry. However, the affected people appeal to everyone to visit and help only after the water levels decrease, as they are deeply worried about how they will rebuild their lives and homes from scratch once the floodwaters recede.
