“Don’t be afraid, children… no matter what happens, we will study, we will learn, and our dreams will shine bright.”
Some of the children still hold back tears, their soaked notebooks clutched to their chests as if they were holding on to their entire world. Sitting close together, they nod slowly—because in their hearts, they believe him.
