Ajitpal Singh’s Journey – From Village Gomti to Neurosurgeon in Russia

From Village Roots to Medical Aspirations

Ajitpal Singh, an alumnus of Akal Academy Gomti, is on a determined path to becoming a Neurosurgeon Specialist. Currently pursuing MBBS at Tver State Medical Academy in Moscow, Russia, he dreams of returning to India to serve humanity.

A Family Guided by Faith

Born into a devout Sikh family, Ajitpal’s father, S. Harjit Singh, a farmer, had close ties with Baba Iqbal Singh Ji and Akal Academy. His upbringing emphasized spirituality, and his father instilled in him a deep love for Paath from an early age.

Finding Passion for Medicine

Ajitpal studied at Akal Academy Gomti until 8th grade before transferring to Akal Academy Baru Sahib. A biology practical class with Mr. Naresh ignited his passion for medicine when he performed blood tests for the first time. Scoring over 90% in chemistry and biology, he set his sights on becoming a doctor.

A Family of Achievers

Ajitpal’s siblings are also pursuing professional careers—his sister in medicine and his brother in Chartered Accountancy. He believes Waheguru’s blessings and Akal Academy’s teachings have guided their success.

Lessons for Life

Ajitpal credits Akal Academy for instilling in him the value of selfless service. His father’s advice remains his guiding principle: “Never forget your Sikhi, keep your Sikhi Saroop, make Paath a daily practice, and always help others.”

With unwavering determination, Ajitpal is preparing to bring his medical expertise back to India. His journey from a small village to an international medical institution stands as a testament to faith, dedication, and the power of education.
