Akal University, Talwandi Sabo, successfully organized the Second Science Fair in 2017, drawing enthusiastic participation from various institutions. The event saw 367 students from 16 colleges, including Akal University, showcasing their scientific skills and knowledge.
Exciting Competitions and Activities
The fair featured a diverse range of competitions, including Essay Writing, Model Making, Poster Presentation, Treasure Photography Exhibition, and Quiz contests. These activities encouraged students to think critically and present their ideas innovatively.
Esteemed Judges and Guests
A distinguished panel of judges, including Prof. Gagandeep Singh (Punjabi University Regional Centre, Ghuda), Prof. Balraj Singh Brar (Punjabi University Regional Center, Talwandi Sabo), and Prof. Aman Malhotra (DAV College, Bathinda), evaluated the participants’ performances. The event was graced by Chief Guest Smt. Surinder Kaur Sidhu, Deputy Commissioner, NVS, Regional Office, Chandigarh.
