Ankush Gulati, an alumnus of Akal Academy Baru Sahib, embodies this sentiment. Born in the quaint village of Puranpur, Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, Ankush grew up in a modest household. His father, a diligent electrician who ran a small shop, and his mother, a devoted homemaker, nurtured him with love and values. His elder brother was a constant pillar of support.
Early Education and a New Beginning
Ankush began his academic journey at St. Joseph’s School, U.P., where he spent four formative years. Seeing potential in his son, Ankush’s father decided to enroll him in Akal Academy Gomti, a branch of the esteemed Baru Sahib Academy.
The shift to a new environment brought significant changes to Ankush’s personality. His six years at Gomti fostered discipline and curiosity, laying a strong foundation for his future. He then transitioned to Akal Academy Baru Sahib for his senior secondary education, a decision guided by his inner calling.
A Spiritual and Academic Transformation
Baru Sahib’s spiritual ambiance profoundly influenced Ankush. Immersed in the teachings of Gurbani, he experienced a transformative journey that combined academic excellence with spiritual growth. The two years spent at Baru Sahib instilled in him the strength and clarity to face life’s challenges.
Climbing the Academic Ladder
After completing high school, Ankush pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce at Upadhi College, Pilibhit. His interest in financial concepts led him to further his education with an M.Com from Uttarakhand University.
Eager to broaden his horizons, Ankush set his sights on working abroad. He successfully cleared the IELTS exam and took a significant leap, moving to Australia. There, he pursued an MBA at the University of Sunshine Coast, Brisbane.
From Learning to Leading
Armed with an MBA and a wealth of experience, Ankush secured a position as a branch manager at McDonald’s. His journey from a small village to managing a global brand reflects his perseverance and determination.
