National Science Day: A Celebration of Curiosity and Innovation

Every year, February 28th marks the celebration of National Science Day, aimed at fostering awareness about the role of science in our daily lives and sparking a scientific temperament among students.

Theme for 2024: Science and Technology for Specially Abled Persons

This year, the theme highlighted the advancements in science and technology that support specially abled individuals, inspiring discussions and activities focused on inclusivity in scientific innovation.

Igniting Curiosity: Live Experiments and Quiz

Students showcased their scientific acumen through live experiments, captivating the audience of curious learners. A live quiz further enriched the event, focusing on recent scientific discoveries and achievements by Indian scientists.

Insights on Sir C.V. Raman and Other Scientific Greats

A discussion led by Mr. Ajay Dass and Mr. Mukul Aggarwal shed light on the life and contributions of Sir C.V. Raman. Mr. Hardeep Singh, Head of the Science Department, motivated students to actively engage in science-based activities and pursue their scientific passions.

Active Participation Amidst a Busy Schedule

Despite their ongoing examination preparations, students eagerly participated in various group activities. Their enthusiasm was palpable, underscoring their love for science and learning.

Inspiration from Great Minds

In his concluding remarks, Principal Ashok Singh Guleria encouraged students to draw inspiration from iconic scientists like Sir C.V. Raman, Srinivasa Ramanujan, Jagadish Chandra Bose, and A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. He emphasized staying updated with scientific advancements and preparing to face future challenges.
